Stewart joined Poole Dick as a consultant in 2016 to help us achieve our growth ambitions. He is a Chartered Architect with over 30 years’ experience in mainstream architectural practice. Splitting his time between Development, Consultancy and Education, Stewart is well known in the NW Property & Construction community. He is Chair of FBE Manchester as well as Norfox, a children’s charitable trust linked with the Property sector. He also sits on the Greater Manchester Chamber Property & Construction Group. He became a Professional Examiner for RIBA in 2000, and at the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL in 2016. Poole Dick was the first QS Stewart worked with when he qualified!
In what little spare time he has, Stewart always has one or two residential projects on the go. He and his architect wife Ali have built new homes and repurposed others, becoming inveterate ‘movers’ in the last few years (although he claims not to be on the run from anyone). Happiest outdoors, Stewart is a lifelong rugby fan who has yet to grasp the appeal of the round ball game. He cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats in 2015, partly for a laugh as well as to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK. Still trying to convince himself (and others) that he’s a golfer.
