Poole Dick was appointed by Wulvern Housing as their project Quantity Surveyor on this circa £8m improvement programme. The works on this Radburn style estate was to be split across 5 phases, 2 of which have been completed and the 3rd phase is now on site.

The works included:
•Demolition of existing properties
•Construction of multiple new (mixed tenure) dwellings
•Remodelling of multiple existing properties
•Public realm, environmental and highway improvement works

Services included but were not limited to:
•Preparation of estimated costs (including the coordination of Value Engineering/Management)
•Preparation of Bill of Quantities
•Negotiation of ‘Agreed Maximum Price’ with the contractor, following a 2 stage tender process
•Preparation of detailed (bespoke) financial reports
•Management of finite development budget
•Issue of early warning notices in relation to costs, ensuring the effective management of the agreed budget
•Organise and chair regular cost/budget review meetings

Our services have been retained on all 3 phases of the above project, allowing the client to benefit from our continuous improvement ethos.
